Sphynx took part in the 19th annual IT Directors Forum at the Megaron, a major gathering for Greece’s CIOs and IT Executives.
Our very own Dr. Lefteris Koumakis, EC Project Manager & Head of the Health Portfolio, held the keynote speech “Cybersecurity in the Era of Personalized Health Services” and presented the SMART BEAR project, the flagship EU project that develops an innovative platform to support the healthy and independent living of elderly people living with chronic conditions.
Dr. Lefteris Koumakis began by sharing key insights such as that 133 million medical records were exposed or impermissibly disclosed in 2023.
Additionally, he described how Sphynx develops a secure by design platform to tackle related cybersecurity challenges as part of SMART BEAR.
